Designing for a quieter workday
How we decide what deserves your attention in Aster.
Attention is part of the product
A tool can help a team stay informed without turning every change into an interruption. We start by asking who needs to know, when they need the information and whether the activity feed is enough. Many small updates are most useful when you choose to catch up.
Give every screen a clear next step
We review pages with a simple question: can someone tell what to do next? That means descriptive links, visible document owners and consistent places for project information. Removing an unnecessary choice often helps more than adding another shortcut.
Improve the familiar parts
Our weekly product review includes support notes and small usability issues. We look for repeated friction in everyday tasks before planning new features. The result is a series of practical improvements to the places people already use.
